Opprettet 25.02.1950 av Kommunaldepartementet i henhold til kgl. res. av 10. februar 1950, jfr. lov av 14. november 1947 nr. 3 om ferie paragraf 8, siste ledd.
Mandate:
Feriefondets styre avgjør i det enkelte tilfelle om og i tilfelle hvilken støtte som skal gis av fondets midler til ferietiltak. Før styrets vedtak kan settes i verk må de være godkjent av departementet. Styret er videre rådgivende organ for departementet
