Abstract
The Archive of Advisory Committees is a collection of information about public advisory committees appointed by government or parliament. The sources are annual reports from the government. The archive has information on two levels and on four topics (dataset):
- General information about the committees (name, foundation year, tasks, ministry etc).
- Annual information about the committees (number of meetings, expenditure etc).
- General information about members of committees (name, gender, birth year, etc).
- Annual information about members of committees (assignment, occupation etc).
For the years 1983, 1986, 1989 and 1993 NSD has coded members of committee’s memberships in non-profit organisations. The ID-number used in this archive is the same as the ones used in the Archive of Non-Profit Organisations.
