The Department of Administrative and Constitutional Affairs assists the Prime Minister and the Government Secretary in the preparation and the follow-up of Council of State business.
The Department of Administrative and Constitutional Affairs is responsible for all administrative matters at the Office of the Prime Minister. This includes matters relating to wages and personnel, accounting and budgets, archives, information and communication technology, security and the Government Car Service.
The Department is responsible for legal issues linked to the administrative functions of the Office of the Prime Minister, with a particular responsibility also for constitutional matters.
The Department of Administrative and Constitutional Affairs is in charge also of accounts and budgets for the wages and travel expenses of the political staff of all government ministries.
