02.03.2009 Regular founding
INTPOW is a networking organisation founded to promote cooperation between Norwegian and foreign players in the renewable energy industry. INTPOW is a non-profit joint venture between Norwegian Renewable Energy Industry and the Norwegian Government.
The organisation was established March 2, 2009 by the following:

- Det Norske Veritas
- Navita Systems
- Nexans Norway
- Norconsult International
- Norsk Solkraft
- Statkraft
- The Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy
- The Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry
