01.01.2015* Founding by complex reorganization
Tasks:
The Rescue and Emergency Planning Department is the superior authority to the Directorate for Civil Protection and Emergency Planning (DSB). The department is responsible for coordinating the Norwegian Rescue Service and has the administrative responsibility for the main rescue coordination centre.
