About
The Centre for integrity in the Defence Sector (CIDS) was established in 2012 based on the initiative of the Norwegian Ministry of Defence (MoD). It is an advisory body and now an integral part of the MoD. The Centre is professionally independent in its advisory role related to “good governance” and building integrity (BI) in the defence and security sectors in Allied, as well as partner nations.
The Centre seeks to promote and enhance professional integrity and good governance in the defence and security sectors. CIDS’ approach is comprehensive, and its dedicated team of experts applies a variety of tools in their efforts to build competence, raise awareness and reduce risks of corruption.
