The Ministry has established a project to develop the regulation and policy for offshore renewable energy in Norway. The work includes developing a guidance note for award of acreage and the licensing process for offshore wind on the Norwegian continental shelf, facilitating international cooperation and other necessary measures to facilitate the development of an offshore wind industry in Norway.
