01.01.2021* Entered; new relevant entity
The company was founded on 21 February 2003 and registered in the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities on 30 June 2003. The company was established as a company under UNINETT with the company name UNINETT NORID AS. The company changed its name to NORID AS on 27 June 2019.
Norid was a part of the Uninett group for more than 25 years. In 2021, the ownership was transferred and Norid is now owned by the Ministry of Local Government and Modernisation.
