21.05.2008* Maintenance by reorganization

Mesta Group AS was founded 21 May 2008 as part of a demerger (sharing of a limited company's assets and liabilities) of Mesta AS. After the change, the activities were organized in the parent group Mesta AS and eight subsidiaries. The new corporate structure was introduced on 1 September 2008.

As of 2011 Mesta is organized as a Group with five subsidiaries: Mesta Entreprenør as, Mesta Drift as, Mesta Eiendom as, Mesta Elektro as and Mesta Verksted as.
