01.01.2012 Change of name
On 16 September 2011 it was decided to change the name of the "National Office of Building Technology and Administration" to the "Directorate for building quality". The name change applies from 1 January 2012.
The change is made to give the agency a name that reflects the mission organization, and is easy to communicate.
01.01.2012* Maintenance by reorganization
Change of location; 1/3 of the agency is moved from Oslo to Gjøvik.
