The A-crime centers

The Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority, NAV, the police and the Tax Administration are, through a formalised agency cooperation, co-located in a total of 8 A-crime centres. The centres are composed of employees from the four agencies and the centres are not separate legal entities.

The 8 A-crime centres are located in:

- Bergen, 2014
- Oslo, 2015
- Trondheim, 2015
- Stavanger, 2015
- Kristiansand, 2015
- Bodø, 2017
- Tønsberg 2017
- Alta, 2022 (The A-crime centre in Finnmark was opened in November 2022)

Organization
The agencies have established a management model for coordinating and managing the cooperation between the agencies in this complex field. Although the model on paper is set up to facilitate agency cooperation at all levels, in practice it has focused almost exclusively on the agencies' cooperation in the unemployment crime centers. The centers are composed of employees from the four agencies and since the centers are not legal entities, all matters related to personnel responsibility, budget and planning must be cleared in the line in the individual agency. The need for follow-up from the lines is covered through established local coordination groups (LKG) and regional steering groups (RSG).
